| Some dishes we suggest you to taste are:
"The Tuscan Appetiser" where you will certainly find
the classical "Milt Croutons" and a rich variety of
cold cuts. The "Bruschetta", toasted bread, that is
then seasoned with rubbed garlic, salt and Tuscan olive oil.
The "Bread Soup" containing a vast choice of legumes,
from beans to potatoes, from black cabbage to chard, from carrots
to tomatoes. If it is eaten the day after by warming it up with
some good Tuscan olive oil, then it takes the name of "Ribollita".
The "Panzanella", a very tasty dish that is eaten
especially in Summer, is made with stale bread. After wetting
it in water, it is seasoned with olive oil, vinegar and salt
and then flavoured with pieces of fresh tomato, cucumbers, onion
and basil. |
